Tres Bon Rat Fink is part of an ongoing project exploring the use of toy instruments and home-made devices to create experimental, improvised music.

The three songs were all recorded live by one person in one take with no overdubs or edits early one morning in June 2010.

Instruments and devices used were:

* "Rock 'n' Board" toy keyboard/drum machine
* Square wave oscillator
* Square wave oscillator with LFO
* Ring modulator
* Mutant radio synth
* Mobius real-time looping software
* Record player (for scratching)
* Mixing desk with DSP echo effects

My intention is to simply give this away as a download but I am happy to burn and send you a CD if you give me NZ$5 (in NZ) or NZ$10 (outside NZ).

I'll even draw a picture on it for you.
